I came over from Rocks In My Dryer after seeing you have a 3-yr-old, 14-month-old, and one on the way. I have 13-month-old twins and one due in September. But having come here on that random note, I really needed to read this post this morning. Almost a week after you wrote it, and I've had that kind of night and morning. Sick boys who wouldn't sleep in their own bed and were up early. Forgetting an EI appt. this morning. Spilling milk on the counter. Being annoyed at my husband. Take captive these thoughts, O Lord.
Thank you.

Thanks, Stacey! Of all the suggestions I've received, red grapes are brand new! I should make a list of all the remedies people have suggested and leave them in my sidebar for any visitors! :-)

Thanks for visiting my site and commenting. I used to forget to brush my girls teeth too. :-p
I was reading through your site, and I just wanted to say that I had horrible depression during my second pregnancy. I'd never had it before. I heard it would increase my chances of post-pardum depression, but thankfully I didn't get that. I can't imagine how hard that must be.
As far as morning sickness goes, red grapes worked the best for me. Weird huh? I read it online and of the million things I tried, that helped the most.
Best wishes with your pregnancy.

Thank you so much for this post! I really like when you said, "we do have one responsiblity, that of handing over. It is we who must first lay hold of these insidious thoughts and in turn give them to the One who can bear all our burdens. Who promises to give us rest. " So often, I neglect to do that!
